MKOS — Mekanys Consulting OS

MKOS is the internal operations system Mekanys SRL uses to run its Salesforce consulting business end to end: sales pipeline, delivery projects and boards, timesheets, capacity, and billing.

Who it is for

MKOS is not a public product. Mekanys staff sign in with a @mekanys.com Google Workspace account. People from Mekanys's clients and partners use its client portal by invitation only, signing in with a code emailed to the address they were invited with. There is no self-service sign-up.

Why it asks for Google access

Consulting work is recorded in three places that already exist — a calendar, a Drive, and an inbox. MKOS reads those with the signed-in person's own permission so that time, documents and client correspondence do not have to be retyped into a second system.

• Calendar — meetings appear on your timesheet as suggestions you can turn into logged hours. You may also connect an additional calendar (a partner or personal Google account) when work is booked there.
• Drive — MKOS lists the engagement folder tree, and files documents it creates or that you explicitly pick into the right project folder.
• Gmail — you can file a client email thread against a deal, so the correspondence sits with the work it belongs to.

Every one of these is initiated by a person and can be disconnected at any time from the Setup screen inside MKOS, or from your Google Account permissions.
